Lynette & Jeremy | A Navy & Burgundy Summer Wedding at Samuel Cedars
Lynette & Jeremy were married at Samuel Cedars on June 28, 2026, surrounded by all of the lush greenery that comes with a Missouri summer.
And yes, it was hot.
Very June-in-Missouri of it.
But the beautiful summer setting made a gorgeous backdrop for their outdoor ceremony and wedding-day portraits.
Navy & Burgundy in the Summer
Lynette & Jeremy chose navy and burgundy for their wedding colors, and we loved seeing this deeper color palette during the summer months.
Burgundy is often associated with fall weddings, but there's absolutely no rule saying you have to save it for October.
Paired with navy, it created a classic look that contrasted beautifully against the bright greens around Samuel Cedars in June.
It's a great reminder that you don't necessarily have to choose your wedding colors based on the season. If you love a color palette, use it!
A Summer Ceremony at Samuel Cedars
By late June, the property is about as green as it gets.
The cedar trees surrounding the outdoor chapel create a naturally beautiful setting for the ceremony, and the landscaping throughout the property is fully into summer mode.
Of course, summer weddings also mean planning for warmer temperatures. Thankfully, once the ceremony and outdoor portraits are finished, everyone can head into the air-conditioned reception space to cool down and celebrate.
Celebrating Lynette & Jeremy
From their outdoor ceremony to their reception afterward, Lynette & Jeremy had a beautiful summer day at Samuel Cedars.
Their classic navy and burgundy details looked gorgeous against the property, and we're so happy we got to be part of their celebration.
