What to Expect at Your Samuel Cedars Venue Tour

Ready to come see Samuel Cedars in person?

We love venue tours because photos can give you a good idea of what a space looks like, but there's nothing quite like actually walking through the property and imagining your own wedding day here.

If you're wondering what to expect when you arrive, here's how a typical Samuel Cedars venue tour goes.

We'll Start at the Outdoor Chapel

First, we'll head out to our outdoor ceremony space.

The chapel is surrounded by cedar trees and features an arbor with a water feature behind it, a concrete aisle, landscaped berms, and lamp posts surrounding the space.

We typically won't have all of the white wedding chairs set up during your tour like they would be for an actual ceremony, but don't worry. We'll have plenty of photos available so you can see what the space looks like completely wedding-ready.

This is also a great time to ask questions about ceremony setup, guest counts, weather backup plans, or anything else you're wondering about.

Then We'll Walk the Property

After seeing the ceremony space, we'll make our way back up the path and show you some of the different areas around the property.

There are several beautiful spots for wedding-day portraits, so we'll point those out as we go and give you a better idea of how everything connects.

One of the things that's hard to understand from photos alone is the actual layout of a venue. Walking it in person makes it much easier to picture how you'll move from one part of your wedding day to the next.

Next Stop: The Bridal Suite

This is definitely a bride favorite!

We'll show you our spacious bridal suite where you and your wedding party can get ready before the ceremony.

You'll be able to see the space, get a feel for how your group will fit, and start imagining that part of your wedding morning.

We'll Tour the Reception Space & Groom's Room

From there, we'll head into the indoor reception space.

We'll talk through how the room can be arranged, where different parts of the reception typically happen, and answer any questions you have about tables, décor, food, dancing, or the general flow of the evening.

We'll also show you the groom's room so you can see where everyone will be getting ready before the ceremony.

Then We'll Talk About Your Wedding

Once you've seen everything, we'll sit down and chat.

We'll go over our different wedding packages, talk about what you're looking for, and help you figure out which options might make the most sense for your plans.

If you already have a wedding date or a few dates in mind, we can also check availability while you're here.

And bring your questions!

Whether you're wondering about catering, decorating, timelines, weather plans, or something completely random, your tour is the perfect time to ask.

You Don't Need to Have Everything Figured Out

You absolutely do not need to arrive at your venue tour knowing your guest count, color palette, ceremony time, entire wedding budget, and exactly which package you want.

That's what the tour is for.

Come see the property. Ask questions. Get a feel for the space.

Most importantly, try to imagine yourselves actually getting married here.

Sometimes that's the easiest way to know when you've found the right venue.
